1970 911S restoration

COMPLETED - RESTORATION OF ORIGINAL COLOR + ENGINE REBUILD FOR A CLIENT.

  • Spectacular clean chassis, but car had been painted silver in the past. Originally left the Factory in Albert Blue (#1818). And now it is, once again.
  • Restoration has taken 8 months. Paint and body (and more) by John Esposito.
  • Engine rebuilt to add a bit of displacement and compression by Tyson Schmidt of PRO Motorsports in Burbank

MY NAME FOR A SUPER-RARE 71 911T NON SUNROOF COUPE DELIVERED IN TURKIS (TURQUOISE) #6464.

  • Car had been given a poor overspray of black and rear bumper swapped for a late-70s part
  • ‚ÄčOriginal parts were sourced for a 'driver quality' restoration
  • With help from several people, I was able to match the original color and return the car's special appeal.

Stock or modified, i know a bit about porsches. Especially 911s.

AGAIN, BRINGATRAILER CHRISTENED MY CAR BASED ON THE ENTHUSIASM FOR THE ORIGINAL.


  • Motronic setup on a 3.0 engine resized to 3.2. aluminum 915 transmission with 8:31 transmission
  • Unaltered non sunroof coupe body painted #622 Beige Gray
  • Interior entirely covered in chestnut-colored leather except for makore dash insert and corduroy seating surfaces.
  • 15 X 7" Fuchs with media blasted and clear coated centers

1972 911E restoration

BUILT UP FROM AN EMPTY SHELL TO PARTIAL RESTORATION FOR A CLIENT.

  • Car had virtually none of the original Viper Green remaining.
  • A partial restoration from rolling shell - over 13 month period.
  • Color matched the interior material to the remaining dash insert vinyl -- cinnamon color.

1973 911E restoration

I WAS ABLE TO SAVE THIS CAR FROM BEING CUT UP AND MADE INTO A DUNE BUGGY.

  • Car had been sitting for 6 years and had developed surface rust, but had 'good bones'
  • With help from Dutch Treat in Lawndale, CA, I was able to get this car running and driving in 1/2 day
  • A 'driver quality' restoration took 9 months

BEFORE THERE WAS A RAUH-WELT BEGRIFF, THIS WAS A ROUGH, LOW-COST TOY. PAINTED MEXICO BLUE.

  • 1974 Gold Sportomatic, sunroof donor.
  • Fiberglass flares attached with fasteners, fiberglass fenders, ducktail. Lexan door windows. Race seat & harness. Fire suppression system.
  • Modified 1975 2.7 engine.
  • Sold to Magnus Walker. Now residing in Netherlands.
